This is a comprehensive, scholarly, multi-disciplinary, full-text database, with more than 8,500 full-text periodicals, including more than 7,300 peer-reviewed journals. This database can be a good starting place for topics that cross many subject areas. Coverage: 1887 to date

This is a multi-disciplinary research database, with full text from over 2,500 publications, and indexing from nearly 3,600 publications. This database provides support for research in all core undergraduate subjects, but especially in the arts and humanities. Coverage: 1982 - present.

Research Library is a multi-disciplinary resource providing access to a wide range of the core academic titles, trade publications, magazines, and other timely sources across the top 150 subject areas. It includes more than 6,000 periodical titles, 75% of which are available in full text. Research Library consists of two components: a core list of general periodicals; plus several subject-specific modules. Coverage: 1971 - present.
US NewsStream This link opens in a new window
Newsstand (aka US NewsStream) contains major national newspapers, and state and regional papers. The core titles include The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and the Washington Post. It also includes 85 full-text newspapers and 7 U.S. military titles. Newsstand includes detailed indexing for subjects, companies, people, products, and geographic areas. Contains top news stories, editorials, editorial cartoons, obituaries, and letters to the editor from well known people are indexed. Over 1,270 newspapers are full text. Coverage: 1980's - present.

The database provides indexing and abstracts for books and articles published on modern languages, literature, including British and American, folklore, linguistics, literary theory & criticism, dramatic arts, as well as the historical aspects of printing and publishing. Listings on rhetoric and composition and the history, theory and practice of teaching language and literature are also included. The materials covered are international and include almost 60 titles from J-STOR’s language and literature collection as well as links to full text. This database contains citations from more than 4,400 journals. Coverage: 1963 - present.
