Library Services for Distance Students: Start Here

Services and Resources provided to our online students at Asbury University.

Distance Learning Services

The Kinlaw Library wants to showcase the wide variety of services available to all of Asbury University's distance learning students.  We offer equal access to all of our students to all of our electronic resources.

If you need additional access to information not covered in this guide, contact the Library's Main Desk at 859-858-3511 x2265 or go to Ask A Librarian.

The library provides access to thousands of online resources for distance students:

  • Search and read the full-text of ebooks.
  • Consult online reference books, including Bible dictionaries, commentaries, lexicons and atlases.
  • Search in over 40 different subject databases for journal articles on your topic.
  • Use online media, including audiobooks, streaming videos and music.

The library will also provide access to printed books and journals:

  • You can request journal articles and sections of books from libraries around the world. This means you can access nearly any journal article you need.
  • Use local academic and public libraries in your area.   Search WorldCat to see if they have the item you want.
  • If you are unable to access a print book at a nearby library, contact us for other options.
